News from the Dealers "The Record Shop" at 397 Station Road, Harrow, Middlesex, is now open and offers a specialist service for those interested in classical records. John Trapp Ltd., North London retailers of Hi-Fi equipment and records, staged, on November 6/7th at the Hornsey Town Hall, an ambitious presentation, "Hi-Fi Stereophonic Sound", to which the public were invited. Each performance, lasting three hours, played to a full house and the public were well rewarded by an excellent presentation. The aim of John Trapp to interest the widest public in the strides the gramophone, Hi-Fi and Stereophonic Sound have made over the years was fulfilled.  The programme covered the history of the gramophone from the cylinder machine to -stereophonic sound, of which equipment was displayed and demonstrated on a revolving stage, also recordings of an "Imaginary Journey in Sound"—each record accompanied by well conceived stage presentations. The whole was ably compèred.
