Allders Croydon
ALLDERS/The Chart Shop CROYDON

Allders Record Department of their famous Department store in Croydon ('Records Records Records'..) that was in the programme for Crystal Palace v Millwall Wednesday 28th October 1959. Michael Viner.
Dave Harwood: “Allders of Croydon had a very good record department in their arcade during the late 1960’s and 1970’s. It was located on the right-hand side of the arcade, as you were walking from North End, close to the George Street exit. I bought Deep Purple’s first Harvest LP ‘Book Of Taliesyn’ and ‘In The Court Of The Crimson King’ by King Crimson there in 1969. They had a good selection of classical records too.” (March 24, 2016)
