Great Junction Street, Leith. Only visited this place a handful of times. From what I recall it sold mainly Scottish material. Comment: dn784533 45cat forum
Yes they sold a lot of Scottish stuff, also Country&Western and Easy Listening. They did sell some other "top 20 /pop stuff" and greetings cards at the other side of the shop. I used to find that some shops like this who were possibly knowledgeable in certain musical genres, weren't always that knowledgeable in others and this is where I purchased TMG 1000 for next to nothing which was only available in a box set which I had anyway, but thought it would be a good investment to have a second copy for the future. I was friends with the owner of this store and helped out many times behind the counter, I can confirm we never sold greeting cards but they did stock an extensive range of records of all genres plus a range of stylus, cd's cassettes etc. After the store closed it did become a greeting card shop so perhaps that is where your thoughts are confused.
