Name Ade Smith Comment: I used to work here in the 70s. The owner was Ann Yow Not sure if I've spelt that right. Happy times. (July 11, 2017).
Name Jan Whaley Comment: I remember shopping here every weekend and at the one in the town centre on Carr Lane. A guy called Karl worked at the one on Princes Ave. I still have some of the vinyl I bought there including the Nice Enough to Eat sampler. Great memories. 😀 (July 16, 2017).

Jan's mention of "Nice Enough to Eat" brought with it a faint whiff of joss sticks and patchouli. , taking me back to 97 Princes Avenue (or The Polar Bear) in the centre of the Hull counter-culture. I have a copy of Volunteers by Jefferson Airplane from here: slightly before my era musically but still a great album.
