Hectors House
(July 23, 2015) This place was heaven to me as a teenager, all the different ltd editions, old picture discs,the bootlegs, i spent a fortune there, all worth it. Still have a few gems i found in there i will be keeping, but all the ones that i missed, lent or lost, where do i find them now without resorting to the internet? Buying (sometimes) overpriced records in dubious condition, which then have to be shipped from somwhere, by someone, and it may arrive eventually, or not, by which time you have possibly found another copy cheaper on another site. Without the shop the price is all we have to go by. you take your chances and THEN add P & P. Was much better when you could just browse, find what you want, pay whatever the expert has chosen to price it at, take it home and put on immeaditly. Its not just plain nostalga, it was better for everyone. Going to Hectors, Cranes and dr.Roberts and others was a good (and expensive) day out! And what do i have to show for it. Hello, im a serious collector, and enjoy those rare cds, no vinyl, since i dont have room, with just over 3000 units, nothing against vinyl, still love music, no local record shop, makes it akward to find the artists i do like, and thankyou for the all about eve singles, and your note to this site.
