(Jan 18, 2013) Jimmy The Moonlight said:The branches in Manor Park and Barking were a treasure trove of deletions. We discovered so much great music in there. The Barking branch had a giant foil picture of Dean Martin on the window. The Manor Park branch had big wooden cabinets at the back.

A favourite group of record shops I remember Billy Bragg working in the East Ham branch. I was collecting soundtracks and easy listening in the early 90s before they became popular and Low Price was a fantastic source.
The owner let me visit thier warehouse in Mile End- an old church packed full of old stock. Bought multiples of lounge classics like John Gregory- Man for All Seasons and the Rotary Connection albums. All 1 each.
Those were the days.
