(Jan 14.2015)Boots had records upstairs, in the back corner. They stocked the whole top 40 singles, which they displayed on the wall. Whenever a punk record got in the chart, they would stock it, but no one would buy it, as the typical Boots clientele didnt want it, and punk fans went to the Beat Goes On.
A few weeks later, it would be on the reduced shelf, just above the floor. That would be when I would buy it. They also had a selection of albums on racks facing the wall. Lots of Abba. All the albums were at full list price, which was very expensive. Comment: Ady
