This was open in the 1990s and owned by Paul Drake (aka Drakey) who I think ran the Symphony Sound and Purple Heart labels. Tony Collins (DJ Loftgroover) also worked in the shop. They were underground dance music specialists.

I used to get served by Loft Groover (who later went on to work at Croydon's SWAG, if memory serves me correctly). He recognised that I was into Detroit Techno, and I bought quite a few early Transmat / Metroplex etc. records off him. I was very young, but he was approachable and friendly, which was more than I could say about some stores! Top shop, run by pro people. Much missed!
