'Happy memories too of trading secondhand records at "David's Books, and Records" up in Letchworth. I'd bowl up with 8 or 9 of my cast offs and return home with 2 or 3 second, third, or fifthhand gems from David's. If all went well my new purchases would keep me well satisfied for years to come, but then often came the time I'd have a desperate longing to hear my old copy of say, "Undead" by Ten Years After again, and I'd bowl up the A1 again and either buy it back at twice what he allowed me for it before; or maybe I'd just visit it ! Long live secondhand record shops. Like lending libraries they are places of great educational opportunity. Will Vine Sound of the world forum.
