I found an advert in the ‘Liverpool Echo’ dated 15th May 1925:
“DAVIS'S MUSIC STORES LTD Have Pleasure in Announcing the Opening of their New His Master's Voice Depot at 62, LIME STREET On Saturday, May 16th. Davis's have been appointed fully authorised H.M.V. Agents at this New Depot.”

My name is Ethan Davis. I grew up in London but my family is originally from Liverpool. I believe this Music Store actually belonged to my great grandfather.
