I received eight 2/6d vouchers (not to be used together). Or maybe Mickey Dolenz owes me. Anyway, I'm sure the guy in the shop looked more like Simon Dee.

BTW, I also remember Disc City on Cross Lane - window shopping only. See other people's photos.

My Dad's favourite place as a kid, he always harboured a passion to own a record shop himself as a result!! My parents met in the milk bar next door after my Mam had gone to Disc City with a friend and my Dad bought her a Vimto!!

Wow This brings back some wonderful memories, I bought my brother's last two 45disc records from the Disc City in the 60s great little record shop and atmosphere buzzing,And Louis Snack Bar hot vimto for sixpence,me and my mate's spent most many a time in there,Just feels like Yesterday
