I found a notice in the ‘Sandwell Evening Mail’ dated 27th January 1984: “The collapse of Dudley’s GRADUATE RECORDS store, with debts of £44,000, will leave unsecured creditors with no chance of getting their money back. Be Bop Ltd. trading as Graduate Records in Union Street, is being wound up after a creditors’ meeting in London yesterday.”

I found this advert in the 'Walsall Observer' dated 23rd June 1972: “GRADUATE RECORDS are now open at 16 TOWNEND SQUARE, WALSALL. All Brand New Record, Cassette and Cartridge Prices Reduced by up to 30%.”
