The shop was Harpers, I worked there from approx. 1960, when I was 12 years old, until I was approx. 18 years old. It was also an Electrical shop, as well as selling Children’s toys, it was in fact 2 shops, one side selling Electrical goods, on the other, Records & Toys.


Yeah Harpers I worked there in 1964/5 used to work with a guy called Les and his wife Mary worked in the pram shop further down the road that was called Harpers as well
