Comment: I still clearly remember the small record shop in Kenton Road (Harrow, Middlesex) where I used to buy all my records in the 1960s. It was called Heagarty's and you could go to the individual booths to listen to the records before you bought them (I still have all those records too!)

I think the first record I bought was Living Doll by Cliff so that means I was buying there in the late 1950s too.

I found an advert in the ‘Harrow Observer’ dated 10th March 1966:
“A large selection of record players, records, etc., at F. T. Heagarty & Co. 172, Kenton Road, Kenton. WOR. 5348 /4040.”
