Hung Up

(March 10, 2016) ​‘Hung Up’ was a short-lived record/CD & poster shop at 20 St. George’s Walk, Croydon in the late 1990’s/early 2000’s. I think the owner had a shop in London (their website was sohomusic.com) and rents were a lot cheaper in Croydon. Unfortunately, not long after it opened, the area was scheduled for redevelopment and many shops closed down, including ‘Hung Up’. The sticker/label is from a Blue Note CD dated 1997 I bought there. I was tempted to buy a rare Herbie Mann LP on Atlantic, but it was too expensive!. Dave Harwood
