I found this in the 'Widnes Examiner' dated 8th May 1909:

I have several early discs sold by Jake Graham in their distinctive Jake Graham paper covers. JG had a little sticky label attached to each disc noting, in handwriting, the rpm speed required. I’d post photos if anyone is interested.
