My dad always bought his records from John Anglins, he worked on the dock so was easy to get to from work, they sold a big mix of records, mainly the non commercial, Dad loved country music. once i got a liking for prog rock he always managed to get the requested album in within a week

This was the first record shop I frequented. After spending a lot of money in the sixties due to my father who bought without my permission but on my behalf a Thorens TD124 mk2 turntable which I still use today.
