Sadly, you're seven years too late. A couple of weeks ago, the last reggae shop in north London shut its doors as Trevor Sax closed his Regal Records centre for good. This shop used to be called Lasco's Music Den and was a leading place for pre-release in the early 1970s when Baba and June ran it. I bought loads of great Jamaican singles there circa 1973-76. From the 1980s almost to date, the store was run by Eddie Regal but in recent years the shop has been mostly poorly stocked.
