Long-established in Park Road, Glasgow (near to Kelvinbridge underground) Lost Chord - note spelling - was opened and run for years by Gordon somebody. (My memory lets me down). Great mix of new and s/h vinyl and tapes it was one of those great shop where disorder frequently reigned. It still has probably the most outrageous shop-front in Glasgow consisting, as it does, of a Noah's Ark type mural. Comment: Vladimir Lenin.

Name Bill Higgins Comment:I remember it at its original location in Kinning Park just behind Cessnock Subway station. Opened my eyes to a diverse range of music. (July 24, 2017).

Comment

I remember lost Chord well!. I literally was in the shop every day after school in the early 70's and spent my lunch money on their great value records. My now massive record collection started in this shop, it was great for promo records mostly 7" and many of my most rare records came from Lost Chord.
