McKenzie's who had electrical shops with big record departments on the Wirral, particularly Birkenhead and New Ferry where I had a Saturday job throughout my 6th form days in the 60s. They had several listening booths and were the meeting place for local youth on Saturdays. the New Ferry shop was demolished and the site became a supermarket 30 years ago. Comment: C.J.Hardie.
