Musictown

Musictown had another branch at 209 Upper Tooting Road, London SW17 - you can just about see the address and phone number at the very bottom of the shop bag if you enlarge the photo.

Musictown opened at 235 Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon in the early 1980's after the demise of Addiscombe Music Centre at the same address in the late 1970's. I moved to Addiscombe in 1975 and was a regular customer of both businesses until the building was demolished in the late 1990's, to make way for TramLink.
