No records sold here, but it had a great selection of secondhand/out of print music books.
Up a narrow staircase on Shaftsbury Avenue, a few doors up from the London Pavilion.
Very high bookshelves floor ro ceil;ing, lots of wood, with more books on the next floor up.
Despite the '90s music bookshop Helter Skelter's claim to be London's first dedicated music book shop, I'm pretty shure that Muisque Boutique can make the claim.
I first went in there in 1977, and lastly in 1982, and I don't think it lasted much beyond then

I found this advert in the 'Fulham Chronicle' dated 29th July 1983: “MUSIQUE BOUTIQUE - FOR PEOPLE WHO READ MUSIC A LITTLE OR A LOT - MUSIQUE BOUTIQUE LTD., 70 SHAFTESBURY AVENUE, PICCADILLY CIRCUS, LONDON W1A 4PJ.”
