Nutty Notes

Here is the record shop bag. We found it clearing out the garage in 2017. I cleaned it up but the bottom is split. I live in Bolton but my parents lived in Maldon, Essex from about 1979 - 1985 or so. My family is from South Manchester. Judging by the size, I think they had bought a cassette from there. They had vinyl albums but don't seem to have singles. My dad liked Dire Straits so perhaps the cassette of Brothers in Arms was bought here, I don't know. I know Manchester has a good archive of ex record shops and didn't want this to be lost forever.
