I found this piece in the 'Chatham Standard' dated 23rd February 1988: “... The owner of a Strood record shop is on the look-out for recordings by Medway bands. Graham Sage, of Recollect Records in North Street, wants to stock a comprehensive range of discs by as many local bands as possible.”
… and this piece in the 20th October 1992 edition: “... Don't panic, you can turn unwanted records into cash, as many second-hand record stores are now doing brisk business. Recollect Records in Cuxton Road, Strood and Compact Sounds in Church Street, Chatham, will buy your unwanted records, tapes and CDs.”

Graham Sage retired from the shop over 9 years ago.
The shop will not be re opening as a record shop.
Playback Sounds will NOT be moving into the old premises.
