Comment: I remember buying my first 45 record there and it was The Everly Brothers' All I Have To Do Is Dream. Happy memories of a wonderful shop and lovely days of the late 1950s.

I found this advert in the 'West London Observer' dated 23rd January 1953:
“RECORD Players bought, sold and exchanged. Portable gramophones wanted. Write or call: Record Rendezvous, 212 King Street, Hammersmith, W.6.”
... and this in the 7th October 1955 edition:
“RECORD players, motors, units, pick-ups, etc. 212 King Street, Hammersmith. Riverside 7902.”
... plus this in the 24th February 1956 edition:
“RECORD Players, Radios, Gramophones, Motors, Components. 212 King Street, Hammersmith. Riverside 7902.”
