Silverdales

The basis of my 78rpm collection and LP collection came from here. I used to spend hours in the shop on a Saturday and then smuggle my purchases past my mother when I got home. I think it closed in the late 1960s. I was in London by 1969. The shop had an unbelievable number of the 78 "Twelfth Street Rag" by Pee Wee Hunt and his Orchestra! I still have many of the records I bought there.
