Sir Yanks

(April 11. 2015) 'Yankee' as he's affectionately known has been operating a Reggae shop in Chapeltown since around 1975/76. The original one was in Gathorne Street - not sure if this is the same one in the picture? I've a few Reggae 45s from here with the shop address and a little image of a Robin Hood style archer, which I could never understand the relevance of! One of them is a copy of Bagga Matumbi's 'Daughter Of Zion', a truly great UK produced Roots tune
