I found this piece in the 'Deal, Walmer & Sandwich Mercury' dated Thursday 13th February 1992:
“Sound out town’s new music shop. SOUND HOUSE opens its doors for business for the first time tomorrow (Friday) — bringing the town its only specialist record shop. Manager Paul Savage is looking forward to meeting the music lovers of Deal and, with his wife Laura, is ready to offer service with a smile to his new customers. Sound House is at 112 High Street, almost opposite Deal Town Hall, and partner in the business is Mike Winch. “Despite the recession people still have some change in their pockets after paying the bills and are still buying music,” he said.”
