Sounds Right Records started trading in November 1980 taking over P&J records in Walthamstow high street.
Co owners Nigel Henson and Paul White.
Moved to double unit in high street and opened 2nd shop in Stratford E15.
Previously HMV , it was a big step up but very successfull.
More shops followed in Poplar, Criss Street, Islington.
Markets at Romford and Brick Lane.
During the 80s it was one of the cheapest record shops and TDK tape wholesaler.
