I first went in there in early 1976, and it was certainly still there in 1978/79.
Single albums were mostly £2.65 in 1976, with doubles at £4.65.
This was a big deal for a 12/13-year-old, as I had to scrabble together enough change to buy a record, so compared to other shops where the standard price was £2.95/£4.95, it meant I could get the goodies quicker from Stereo Electronics.
