I found this advert in the 'Harrow Observer' dated 7th September 1979: “Meet Capital Radio D.J. GREG EDWARDS on Monday 10th September at the Grand Opening of the RECORD & DISCO CENTRE 350 Rayners Lane, Pinner, Middx. 01-868 8637. 2 LARGE FLOORS OF RECORDS, TAPES and DISCO EQUIPMENT.”
… and this piece from the 'Harrow Midweek' dated 2nd December 1980: “TV's 'Minder' Dennis Waterman signed copies of his record 'I Could Be So Good For You' at the Record and Disco Centre, Rayners Lane. on Thursday.”
… also this piece in the 'Harrow Observer' dated 23rd May 1985: “THE expansion of the Record and Disco Centre Shop in the shopping centre is a sure sign that this is the age of the video. The first floor is now devoted only to videos with a spacious record department downstairs.”
