It existed between 1989 and 1993, but the premises would last until about 2003ish as a record shop in various incarnations.
As World Beats, it became quite a central part of the local dance/rave music scene.
It was run by DJ Picci, and the legendary Evil Eddie Richards ran his DJ agency 'Dy-Na-Mix' from upstairs before he became a 'superstar DJ'! An early stockist of imported house music, techno, soul, hardcore, and hip-hop in the unlikely 'railway' town of Wolverton! Lots of DJs including Clarkee, Dougal, and Jon Da Silva would pop by. It also gave the first exposure to The Criminal Minds rap (later hardcore/rave) group.
