I found this advert in the 'Reading Standard' dated 12th July 1924: “ALWAYS AT YOUR SERVICE! Full Range of COLUMBIA X NEW PROCESS GRAFONOLAS. Full Stock of RECORDS. S. B. DYER, 42, FRIAR STREET (opposite County Theatre), READING. Authorised Columbia Dealer.” ... and this in the 23rd October 1926 edition: “13, The Arcade, Reading. S. B. DYER (Of 42, FRIAR STREET, READING) begs to announce that on Saturday, Oct. 30th the above premises will be opened for the Sale of High-Class PIANOS, GRAMOPHONES, RECORDS, MUSIC, &c. 13, The Arcade, Reading.” ... plus this in the 6th November 1926 edition: “You are Invited to Call and Inspect the New Showrooms of S. B. DYER (Of 42, FRIAR STREET), at 13, The Arcade, Reading.”
